Asking these questions inspires us and our clients to align our desires with the needs of society. In 2015, these needs were embedded in the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. By specifically targeting 9 of these goals we will turn our inspiration into action. We will continue to refine the detail of our ambitions and will complete a framework to measure our progress every year. In doing so, we monitor updates on the global CS / SDG measurement framework created by GRI and UN SDG.

By routinely checking and transparently communicating on the progress of our sustainability efforts, we will fulfil our promise to ‘Enhance Society Together’ and ensure prosperity for all.

Ecovadis Gold Medal

Universal sustainability ratings provider EcoVadis assessed our Corporate Social Responsibility practices in 2020 and awarded Royal HaskoningDHV Group the Gold medal for the fifth consecutive year. 
The company’s Global Supply Chain Rating is highly valued in the industry and illustrates the performance of more than 40,000 companies worldwide rated by EcoVadis. The index places our company in the top 2% of architectural and engineering firms and in the top 5% for overall CSR performance among all businesses rated.

UN Global Compact

Royal HaskoningDHV supports the UN Global Compact (UNGC) network since 2008. We embrace the 10 UNGC principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption which are integrated in our Global Code of Business Principles. We actively show our commitment to these principles in our tenders and offers and share our principles on integrity and compliance with suppliers and sub-contractors through e-learning. Our activities are reported annually through our Communication on Progress (COP).

CO2-Performance Ladder

Our Dutch branch, HaskoningDHV Nederland B.V., is certified for the CO2-Performance Ladder, level 5 (highest level). This certification scheme stimulates CO2-reduction in our operations and in our projects.
