The Digital Twin Suite is a department of the RHDHV Business Line Digital, Business Unit Software (BUS), developing a Digital Twin (DT) software portfolio to enable RHDHV to scale their Digital Twin capabilities. The Digital Twin Suite is seeking a BIM Manager to join our team of professionals to help realise this vision.

Driven by as built and real-time data, a digital twin is a virtual mirror of a real-world asset, process or even an entire system, like a supply chain or city. This mirror provides insight into how that asset behaves under a variety of simulated conditions, helping you to improve decision-making, optimise processes and manage risk for business resilience and competitive advantage. By uniting these digital twins with the technologies that help us to visualise and analyse data, we can improve efficiency, lower costs, and develop more informed solutions to today’s big societal and environmental challenges.

The applicant should be based in either the UK or Netherlands.

The ideal candidate is a proven industry leader who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and has a deep passion for developing and implementing innovative BIM processes across teams. This candidate will be part of a team leading the implementation of Digital Twin Platforms by capturing client information requirements, developing and managing BIM Execution Plans, and supporting technical activities as required. As part of this initiative, the BIM Manager will help develop and document standards, requirements and specifications.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with representatives from our client’s stakeholders to understand workflow and information requirements. Enable creation of documents (EIR, BEP etc.) that communicate requirements to support development of appropriate Digital Twin solutions
  • Work to incorporate best practices and common methods. Standards, requirements, and specifications to be as uniform as possible
  • Lead development and management of delivery documentation, and deliver the modelling and DT deployment work (e.g. scope, start and end states, and hand-offs)
  • Lead regional development of Digital Twin Platform guides for users and teams that are new to the platform

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Architecture/ Building Engineering or related profession
  • 5+ years of experience providing implementation, training and support in: AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Solibri and BIM360. DT Platform experience is beneficial
  • Experienced in combining and coordinating BIM model updates, running clash detections on revised components and communicating results to internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of primary building systems on industrial projects – foundations, primary building structure and walls, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, fire protection, specialty systems, conveying systems and interior finishes and the sequence of assembly of each

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experienced in leading online meetings and training sessions across remote project teams using platforms such as Miro and Teams
  • Proven ability to create and manage complex commercial and industrial design projects within Revit, Navisworks, BIM360, AutoCAD, and other supporting programs
  • Proven track record of effectively working with and/or managing teams remotely
  • The ability to work effectively in an extremely fast paced, ambiguous environment
  • The ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record of team-wide leadership, owning team processes start to finish and taking ownership for team support and performance
  • Capable of building and retaining relationships both internal and external with direct sales, product, and marketing.
  • Proactive and flexible attitude, willingness to take an “all hands on deck” approach
