As Computational Design Specialist you work together with a driven team of front-runners to help implement computational design in our projects. What you do as Computational Design Specialist 

While responsible for the execution of projects from initiation to completion, you also ensure the quality, client satisfaction and care for reaching the targets of the project. As Computational Design Specialist, you develop parametric design models with the team, but also focus on: 
  • Capturing and transferring knowledge of the Parametric Way of Working; 
  • Training colleagues in data-driven design methods; 
  • Keeping up to date with the latest developments in the domain.

Within Royal HaskoningDHV you will become part of the ParametricLAB which is part of our Multinationals Business Unit. The ParametricLAB is a small team of front-runners implementing computational design in our projects. As a Computational Design Specialist, you will work together with other disciplines within our company, integrating their expertise. You will be assisting us in making a difference for our clients, creating new and innovative solutions together with them. Our clients are leading companies in the Multinational market, challenging us to help them grow. 


What you bring 

Precise, analytical and independent are words that describe your core competencies. With your communication skills you are an excellent team worker. Besides that, you have an affinity with programming languages and automation in the building industry, as well as experience with internal stakeholder management and project work. Furthermore, you have: 
  • A university background in architecture and/or engineering; 
  • 3 to 7 years of relevant work experience; 
  • Thorough knowledge of Grasshopper/Rhino and Python; 
  • Good command of the English language, spoken and written. 

Do you also have experience with Dynamo or Revit? Then that is seen as a plus.
