With your passion for HR you will support the business line in a wide variety of HR-related topics. As a HR Business Partner, you will support the Global Business Line Water & Maritime by translating our business strategy into a people strategy. As a member of the Business Unit Management Team you are the sparring partner to help shape the People agenda and participate in different tactical & strategic HR projects on topics such as leadership, learning and development, employee engagement, retention, diversity and inclusion, health and well-being. 

 

What will you do as an HR Business Partner? 

You act as a proactive partner and collaborate with Business Unit Directors and Advisory Group Directors to provide pragmatic and commercially focused solutions to bring our People Strategy to life. Besides that, you: 

  • Serve as the go-to person for embedding organisational changes to their respective organisations and the impact these have on staff skills, staff development and staff recruitment.  
  • Support in the delivery of business strategy, by creating an environment of positive people management; ensuring we attract, develop and retain talented people who are fully engaged.  
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Centre of Expertise to ensure all People program(s) are suitable and appropriately aligned to the business unit strategy.  
  • Collaborate closely with the People Relations Partner who provides Employee Relations support to the managers. 
  • Manage and facilitate organizational design and development, leadership coaching, and team building that support change and growth. 
  • Work with local country HR teams to ensure an efficient and compliant service in line with global standards and policies, employment legislation, rules and regulations.

But we also have a Climate Resilience team that is involved in predicting and mitigating climate risks every day. And in the field of Water Technology, we design and implement smart, tailor-made solutions for drinkwater, wastewater and Water for industry.

What will you bring to the table?

You quickly understand the organization, you understand what is needed and know how to translate that into the organization & the people agenda. With your problem-solving skills, communication skills and collaborative focus, you are an ideal sparring partner for the business. 
In addition, you have: 

  • Passion about people and culture and are capable of driving initiatives within Business Units. 
  • Several years of experience in the role of HR Business Partner or HR generalist. 
  • Completed bachelor/master in HR. 
  • Experience working in a global and matrix environment. 
  • Excellent communicator who is confident, capable and credible with the ability to have challenging conversations. 
  • Excellent coaching and relationship building skills (stakeholder management). 
  • Business insight and make use of data and analyses. 
  • Excellent written and oral skills in Dutch and English.
