As our new UK Business Development Manager, you enable the UK Water Market with the tools to face these challenges.

 

What you do as a Business Development Manager

As our Business Development Manager, you will be exploring existing and new, alternative, sales channels and you will be looking out for best ways to promote Aquasuite. As a part of Aquasuite’s international business development team, you will be responsible for sales and business development primarily in the UK Water Market. Together with the team, you will be building up our footprint in the market and building out our solutions within the water and wastewater sector. Being part of the Aquasuite team you will also explore opportunities for scaling-up our existing products.

You will be supported by our business and product developers, the marketing team and by our water consultants and specialists. You will align closely with your colleagues in the wider group and in different regions to align and optimise your market approach.

What you bring

With your consultative selling skills, you are capable of understanding and diagnosing client problems and translate them into solutions. Translating complex technical information into easy-to-understand propositions for our clients is no problem for you due to your strong technical understanding. But you also know when to involve experts. And with your tactful, diplomatic and persuasive mindset and ability to listen and understand, you are able to develop productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on different organisational levels.

Besides that, you have:

  • Proven business development track record in the water and/or wastewater sector
  • Relevant network on senior and executive level
  • Understanding and aptitude for digital products and services
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong and confident presentation skills to highest levels of decision makers
  • Commercially awareness and focus on optimising business results
  • A highly motivated, energetic self-starting and hands-on approach
  • Stress resilient and flexible attitude
  • Willingness to travel abroad
  • Fluent English language skills

When you have knowledge of the smart water market and its competitors, that would be an asset.
