Internship Data Science / ML Engineering / Data Engineering
We are looking for interns to help us to work on our projects in developing solutions for our customers. Or perhaps you want to help us with research and development of new techniques for smart cities and infrastructure and digital twins. The internships can be in the field of data science, ML engineering, or data engineering. You will work, for example, on computer vision techniques for road inspection, forecasting river flows and flood risks, predictive maintenance for sewers, pipers, pumps, bridges, and tunnels. You also get to help with developing digital twins for cities like Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
Are you interested in an internship that directly impacts society and helps improve our living environment? Then we are looking for you!
What you will do as an Intern at our Digital Departments
We are offering students in the last phase of their studies the opportunity to do their thesis work or a business internship at Royal HaskoningDHV. Much of our work revolves around smart cities and infrastructure, digital twins, and digital asset management. You will be part of one of our DevOps teams, contributing to developing advanced ML and data solutions for smart water management, roads, buildings, bridges, and other curcial infrastructure. Our projects tend to focus on:
- Computer vision, sensor/timeseries analytics, remote sensing, forecasting, simulation and optimisation for the build environment and large-scale data collection and processing
You will work closely with the other team members on designing and coding new solutions, bringing them to production in our Azure cloud environment. There is also the option to do research focused work to help bring our offerings to the next level. There is room to discuss what your own interests are and how they would match with ours!
