Nereda® technology can be applied in a wide variety of locations and climates, thanks to its adaptability and simplicity of its design. It is capable of providing sustainable wastewater treatment at all kinds of industrial facilities from paper and pulp, food and drink manufacture and dairy, through to wastewater from breweries and industrial manufacturing.
Applications
Wastewater from industrial facilities, including paper and pulp, food and beverages, as well as chemical plants, can be treated to a high quality with Nereda technology. An important additional advantage is that the aerobic granular sludge is much more resilient towards upsets in wastewater characteristics than conventional processes. This results in better operation robustness and reduced compliance risks.Like Nereda plants installed at Municipal sites, Nereda plants at industrial facilities can be built as new Greenfield plants, as retrofit to existing CAS or SBR plants, or as a hybrid capacity extension.
