The aim of the event from 22 to 24 September 2021 is to advance the practice of structural engineering by sharing expertise and facilitating discussion. This year’s theme is “Structural Engineering for Future Societal Needs”, putting the focus on how fresh perspectives to structural engineering can enable our infrastructure and buildings to be more resilient, circular and sustainable.

The ever-increasing demands for infrastructure

Today’s infrastructure not only needs to function seamlessly and efficiently, but it also needs to be sustainable, future-proof, and adaptive to society’s changing needs. Through investments in innovation and by leveraging new digital technologies at Royal HaskoningDHV, we’re collaborating with our clients to deliver the next generation of infrastructure that does exactly that.
From pioneering the world’s first 3D printed circular composite bridge to charting new frontiers in the reuse of girders in viaducts, we’re bringing our in-depth domain knowledge along with cutting-edge digital technologies to push the frontiers of engineering and shape the infrastructure of tomorrow.

Bold vision. Proven impact.

Come and meet us at the event to hear more about how we’re transforming our bold vision for resilience, circularity and sustainability into proven impact through our landmark projects.
