On Friday 8 October a ribbon cutting ceremony took place, with employees joined by several Peterborough officials – including the Mayor, Mayoress and local MP, Shailesh Vara.

Speaking about the new office, which will see the company relocate from its current premises in Bretton, Royal HaskoningDHV’s UK Resident Director, Jonathan Bull, commented: “We are all very excited about this new office. It’s a great example of how we want to create a modern, healthy working environment that supports collaboration and creativity for our business in the UK. This is essential for attracting and retaining our future talent."

“We’re sure this environment will inspire us as consultants and engineers to unlock our full potential in working together with our clients and partners in enhancing society together.”

The opening was attended by Mayor of Peterborough Stephen Lane and Mayoress Margaret Lane, as well as Deputy Mayor Mohammed Jamil and Deputy Mayoress Sughra Jamil.

Shailesh Vara MP was also in attendance, alongside Peterborough Councillor Kirsty Knight, and Alistair Stirling who managed Royal HaskoningDHV (then operating as Posford Duvivier) from 1987 to 2005.
