The protein food company is one of Vietnam’s largest food and beverage companies. The company, which manufactures and distributes a wide range of products, wanted to extend its activities into the provision of high-quality meat to local and export markets. To do so, it needed a high-end facility.

End-to-end consultancy provided by Royal HaskoningDHV

Royal HaskoningDHV was contracted to provide engineering consultancy for a state-of-the-art facility process, as well as an architecturally attractive office, in Ha Nam, close to Hanoi. The first phase involved a build area of 10,000m2 on a 10-hectare plot. The facility needed to accommodate an extensive throughput per hour in a process which includes the meat is then prepared and packaged on the site before going into cold storage, ready for distribution.

Successful delivery of the facility required a deep understanding of the building and the processes involved, as well as the food safety and hygiene requirements. The design needed to accommodate the equipment for the slaughter line and be able to handle the diverse distribution requirements for finished products.

Our experts worked closely with our client to develop a clear plan. Timing was critical, with just three months built into the schedule for full engineering development. By running phases together, we were able to complete the project in a period of just eight months.
