Independent assessment of shipyard rfi submissions

A research organisation operated two ships for separate survey and logistics tasks. The ships were due to be replaced with a single vessel capable of performing both roles. Many international shipbuilders across the world had responded to a request for information and the organisation needed to shortlist those that would be invited to submit a tender.

Using our consultants’ experience and our unique global knowledge of shipyards, we assessed the yards against the research organisation’s selection criteria. We identified the likely risk profile of each shipyard against the criteria which allowed the organisation to draw up an appropriate short list.
